About the course

AI for Public Sector Procurement

Developed in collaboration with the National Association for State Procurement Officials (NASPO), this course will equip procurement and other public sector professionals with the skills to use Generative AI to improve competitiveness, effectiveness and efficiency in procurement.

Divided into short accessible videos, the course is designed to give you practical skills you can use to serve the public better.

  • Describe ways AI can support common procurement tasks like automated document review, market research, and spend analysis
  • Examine the risks and regulatory landscape around using AI in government, including ethics, privacy, and transparency
  • Explore how to work with other teams—like legal, IT, and finance—when using AI in procurement
  • Assess if your organization is ready to start using AI and explore next steps
