About the Series

Launching February 2026

AI for Public Legal Professionals is a three-part learning series designed for attorneys and legal staff working in government. The series focuses on how artificial intelligence is reshaping public sector legal work, and how legal professionals can apply AI responsibly, effectively, and in alignment with public obligations.

Public sector lawyers are increasingly expected to both use AI in their daily work and advise on its legal, ethical, and regulatory implications across government. This series supports legal professionals in navigating both roles, offering practical guidance on applying AI to legal practice while managing risk, accountability, and public trust.

Through applied examples and real-world scenarios, participants explore how AI can support legal research, drafting, case management, and policy work; how to design AI projects that meet the needs of government legal offices; and how to establish clear, defensible rules for acceptable AI use within public institutions.
