About the Series

Launching January 2026

The Prompting Lab is a weekly, hands-on practice space for public professionals looking to strengthen how they use generative AI in real government work. Co-hosted with state and local partners—including Colorado, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Miami-Dade County—the Lab offers a peer-learning space grounded entirely in public sector realities.

Designed as a public sector learning space, the series combines skill-based demonstrations, project-oriented use cases, and open lab sessions. Participants learn not only from facilitators, but from peers across agencies and levels of government—building shared understanding and a growing community of practice around responsible, human-centered use of generative AI in public service.

Register for the series to build practical prompting skills alongside fellow public professionals and deepen your capacity to use AI in ways that meaningfully support public sector work.

The Lab meets weekly on Fridays at 2:00 PM ET, supporting ongoing learning and skill development over time.
