Artificial Intelligence
Using AI in Public-Sector HR
Job descriptions, applicant communications, onboarding, classification, recruitment marketing, and workforce planning are some of the most time-consuming parts of public HR work — and also some of the most promising places for AI to lighten the load. This workshop brings together HR leaders and experts to share what's actually working, where the tools fall short, and how they've kept HR professionals — not software — driving the decisions that affect people's careers.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
-
Identify practical ways AI can support HR tasks such as writing job descriptions, applicant communications, and onboarding materials.
-
Evaluate where AI-generated HR content still requires human review and judgment.
-
Describe how HR teams can adopt these tools without losing the personal, worker-centered qualities residents and employees expect from public HR.
This workshop is part of an InnovateUS Series called : AI for Public HR Professionals
