Building High-Performing Product Teams
AI-enabled services are not built by technology teams alone. Strong public-sector products require collaboration across product, design, engineering, procurement, policy, legal, program, and service delivery teams — each bringing knowledge that helps ensure the product is useful, responsible, and sustainable.
In this workshop, you will explore how high-performing product teams work in government. You will learn how different roles can collaborate across the product lifecycle, from defining the problem and setting priorities to managing risks, governing AI use, and improving services over time.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify the roles and skills needed to build and manage AI-enabled public-sector products.
- Apply collaboration practices that help product, technical, policy, legal, and program teams work together effectively.
- Evaluate governance and operating models that support responsible product development over time.
This workshop is part of an InnovateUS Series called : AI Insourcing and the Government Product Model
