Managing AI Risk Across the Organization

This session explores how agencies can develop governance processes, escalation pathways, staff guidance, and cross-functional partnerships to support safer, more responsible AI adoption. Participants will learn how different roles across an organization can contribute to identifying, communicating, and managing AI-related risks.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify how different roles and teams across an agency contribute to managing AI-related cybersecurity risks.
  • Develop practical approaches to staff guidance, governance, and escalation when AI-related risks arise.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration to support safer and more responsible AI adoption across the organization.
